Dean Robert Helsley
Dean Robert Helsley, Grosvenor Professor of Cities, Business Economics and Public Policy has led UBC Sauder School of Business since July 1, 2012 when he returned to the University of British Columbia from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
Leadership team
The senior administration group at UBC Sauder work to ensure that the school remains at the forefront of business education in Canada and internationally. Together this team is responsible for setting and implementing the strategic direction of the school.
Faculty Advisory Board
This group of high-level executives advises the school on strategies and programs. The board not only serves as a critical sounding board in the development of new ideas and initiatives that support support the school's strategy, but also builds the school's relationships and networks, locally, nationally, and internationally.
The Dean's Student Advisory Council
The Dean’s Student Advisory Council is a body of undergraduate students from across year levels and options. This diverse group of students work with members of the School’s leadership to offer insights, feedback and recommendation on enhancing the student experience.
Key initiatives started from the Dean’s Student Advisory Council include SIDtalks (Sauder Inspired Discussion talks), Fireside, and Connected.
