Supporting our students

Pay it forward. The success of our students is at the heart of what we do. Our dedicated alumni community helps enrich the student experience and allows UBC Sauder students to thrive. Although the last years have affected us all, students are among the most impacted. Here are some ways that you can make an impact.

Recruit an Intern or Co-op Student

UBC Sauder’s Master of Business Analytics (MBAN), MBA and BCom students can help you drive a new initiative or offer fresh perspectives on existing processes.

Hire an intern for the summer or a Co-op student for time-specific projects. From finance and accounting to marketing and operations or data analytics, our recruitment experts will help you find the right person for the job at no cost.

Visit our website to find out about availability and to learn about funding options for hiring an intern or Co-op student. Or go ahead and post a job on COOL.

We understand there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and its evolving impacts. If you have any questions or concerns about your hiring plans, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at talent@sauder.ubc.ca.

Volunteer Opportunities

Through the generous gift of time, resources and expertise, dedicated alumni make significant and meaningful contributions to the UBC Sauder community, ensuring that it continues to be a place of ideas and opportunity. Each year, more than 1200 UBC Sauder alumni serve in volunteer roles with the School – strengthening connections, developing skills and leaving lasting impacts in the process.

Give to the UBC Sauder Innovation Fund

The UBC Sauder Innovation Fund provides immediate support to the business school. Funds are directed to the area of greatest need, allowing the school to act quickly to address the top concerns of our students.

For example, your donation may support internships, co-op placements and summer work terms to help UBC Sauder students complete their program requirements and avoid delays in their studies. It may also support bursaries to meet an expected increase in financial need.

Please join us as we address these needs together.
