Tamar Milne
With a focus on applied and experiential learning, Tamar Milne draws on her two decades of industry leadership in marketing, communications, sales, and sustainability to prepare her students to lead responsibly in their fields. She has been recognized with a number of innovation and teaching awards, including the 2017/2018 UBC Sauder Alumni Talking Stick Award; the 2016 Commerce Undergraduate Society’s Teaching Award; and the 2012/13 UBC Killam Teaching Prize. Tamar believes in business as a force for good and has served as Chair of UBC Sauder’s Sustainability and Ethics Group and as a Teaching and Learning Fellow with UBC’s University Sustainability Initiative.
About the lecture format
This lecture will give you a glimpse of what you can look forward to as a student at UBC Sauder.
Delivered live, online. We will be using Zoom, a secure, free and easy-to-use web application. The sample lecture will be recorded, and posted for viewing after the session.
At UBC Sauder, the classroom is a dynamic learning environment. All of our online lectures will include interactive elements. Please come ready to participate - but don’t worry, there’s no pre-readings to complete!

Although the lecture is free, registration is required. The same lecture will be delivered multiple times to accommodate different time zones, so please only register for one time slot.
