Faculty

Rob Prowse
Rob Prowse is an Adjunct Professor of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources in the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. He teaches business strategy, team leadership, negotiations, and change management topics in the MBA Program. Rob also teaches extensively with UBC Sauder Executive Education delivering leadership development courses to private and public sector organizations.
In addition to his academic endeavours, Rob works with a variety of global organizations through his consulting practice. He advises clients on organizational effectiveness and efficiency strategies (organizational structure/design, business and human resources strategy development, and organizational change) and people development strategies (leadership, negotiations, team effectiveness, performance management, succession planning, and recruitment and selection programs). His clients include Scotiabank, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Pfizer, HSBC, and YVR Airport Authority.

Shannon Sterling
Shannon Sterling is the Director, MBA Programs at the UBC Sauder School of Business. Shannon is a seasoned higher education professional supporting transformational learning experiences for UBC students since 2003. In her current role, she supports the learning and success of all UBC MBA students across various programs (Full-time, Professional, and International MBA). Having been with UBC Sauder for 9 years, Shannon is excited to reinvigorate UBC Sauder RHL student services and programs, supporting today's and tomorrow’s leaders innovatively and purposefully. Shannon holds a BEd in History, English, and Elementary Education from the University of British Columbia, and a MEd in Leadership in Higher Education from Simon Fraser University.
