UBC Sauder mini-lecture in Cape town

Harish Krishnan is the Advisory Board Professor of Operations and Logistics at the UBC Sauder School of Business. He received his PhD in Business Administration from the University of Michigan and has been at the Sauder School of Business since 2002. Prior to entering academia, Harish worked as an industrial engineer in the auto industry. Harish’s current research interests are in supply chain management, particularly related to incentives, contracting, risk management and visibility in supply chains. Since 2010, he has taken on various roles to support the growth of analytics education at UBC Sauder and helped launch UBC’s Master of Business Analytics program.

Dharm is an experienced higher education professional with a deep commitment to innovation and purpose. With over 13 years of experience in the field, and a background in physics, she currently serves as the Director of Master's Programs at UBC Sauder School of Business. Her focus is on supporting the success of the school's graduate students, particularly in programs such as the Master of Business Administration, Master of Business Analytics and the Master of Management. She is dedicated to promoting a positive student experience, fostering academic and professional growth, and ensuring that her students have the resources and support they need to succeed. On the personal front, Dharm is a dedicated mother of 2 young girls, and she is deeply passionate about the outdoors. She loves to explore the beauty of nature through activities such as hiking and skiing, and she values her family time above all else. A perfect day for Dharm would include a warm cup of hot-off-the-stove chai, a good book, and a quick workout, all enjoyed in the company of her loved ones.
