If you’re a student with a career interest in business technology, mentors are one of the most valuable resources you can tap into. This is your chance to gain guidance and learn from some of the most successful professionals in the business technology field.
BizTech and the Sauder Management Information Systems Division are excited to present the BizTech/MIS Tri-Mentorship Program, UBC's premier mentorship program for students pursuing careers in the area of business and technology.
As a member of this tech-focused mentorship community, expect to build rewarding relationships with other students, network with business professionals in this high-demand industry and gain mentorship from some of the most successful and experienced Business Technology professionals in Vancouver.
Opportunities are available for 20 Senior Mentees and 20 Junior Mentees.
Senior Mentees are BTM and BUCS students in year 3 and above who have a passion for business & tech. Senior mentees will build mentorship relationships with carefully selected accomplished leaders in the business technology field. Mentors will guide Senior Mentees in their personal and career development in the area of business and technology. While Senior Mentees expand their knowledge and skills under senior mentorship, they will also mentor a Junior Mentee student, helping them navigate the collegiate world and grow their academic and career knowledge.
Junior Mentees are 1st or 2nd year BCOM or BUCS students who are driven to expand their knowledge of business technology. Junior mentees will build mentorship relationships with accomplished upper year BTM or BUCS students, who will impart advice to help them reach their academic and career goals.
