- Create a project
Projects must have a specific objective with a clear social benefit and directly contribute to the students' skill development in areas such as strategy, finance, marketing or human resources.
- Complete an application form online by October 31st, 2019.
While all proposals are greatly appreciated, not all can be selected. Projects are evaluated on a number of criteria: the required project components (including primary & secondary research), relevance to students' skill development and commitment to community enhancement.
Key dates:
Oct, 2019: CBP application opens
Nov 7, 2019: Deadline to apply
Nov 1st - 15th, 2019: Application evaluation period
Nov 18th, 2019: Applicants notified if they are selected for the shortlist. Further evaluations and telephone discussion to take place in order to finalize the list of approved applicants/scope of work documents.
Dec 15th, 2019: Final approved applicants to be notified along with approved scope-of-work.
Jan 24th, 2020: Mandatory initial kick-off meeting and reception with students, faculty, and other organizational representatives at UBC Sauder (Vancouver Point Grey campus). The client supervisor for all accepted projects must conduct a full project briefing with their assigned student team on Jan 24th, 2020 at UBC campus (Vancouver Point Grey).
Jan - April, 2020: CBP project period
April 24th, 2020: End of CBP project, final deliverables handed to clients.
