Real Estate Division

The Real Estate Division administers examinations on behalf of professional organizations across Canada, as well as for its own programs. Exams are available for Credit Programs at numerous centres across North America and abroad.

The Real Estate Division is actively monitoring the requirements of various governments and health authorities regarding physical distancing. In-person examinations at our existing exam centres are not possible at this time. Once distancing measures are relaxed and appropriate size gatherings are allowed, we will determine if it is feasible to hold in-person exams at all of our centres across the country. Due to the physical distancing requirements, as well as the ability to book exam centres and staff each exam site, in-person exams are not available until further notice. Students should plan for their exams to take place online. For more information on online exams, please see the Online Exams webpage.

Upcoming Examination Periods for Credit Programs

All eligible students are required to confirm their online examination by the specified deadline.

We strongly suggest you carefully review ALL of the Online Exam FAQs so that you understand what is required to write your exam online.

Special examination centres

Students who reside more than 100 kilometres from an established centre, may apply to have a Special Examination Centre established. The fee to have a Special Examination Centre established is $200. All special examination centre requests must be made online in writing, no later than 30 days prior to the final exam, stating your preferred location. The Real Estate Division cannot guarantee your choice of location but will endeavour to accommodate you within a reasonable distance.
