Overview
Supply chains consist of several decentralized firms that coordinate the flow of goods and information in today's business environment, producers of goods and services often rely on a complicated network of firms to deliver their products and services to customers. The course will discuss and tackle significant issues that arise in managing modern supply chains. A theme we will stress in this course is the integration of the various business functions.
Students should be able to identify operational and supply chain challenges pertaining to strategy, design and execution. They will also be able to rigorously come up with a framework for addressing these challenges and be able to evaluate the impact of supply chain decisions on other business functions.
