Inside UBC Sauder Executive Education

When you are always looking forward the world looks to you

In an interview with global publication, Developing Leaders, Bruce Wiesner, Associate Dean for Executive Education at the UBC Sauder School of Business, talks about what the world can learn from Canadian leadership and management styles.

Social responsibility and a desire to do the ‘right thing’ are concepts resonating more and more on a global stage and Wiesner is adamant that the more inclusive and collaborative approach to business that Canadians have needs to be shared and engaged with more widely. He also speaks to how UBC Sauder Executive Education incorporates that approach into its programming and the benefits of having research driven faculty that are looking ‘over the crest of the hill’ and providing new ideas and perspectives to its students.
