Tuition fees
Tuition fees are payable in six equal installments throughout the program. Upon receipt of an offer of admission, you will be required to submit a non-refundable and non-transferable $5,000 deposit in Canadian currency.
Per UBC policy, application fees and tuition fees are allowed to be paid by credit card, but tuition installments must be paid by one of the methods listed on the UBC Paying Tuition page. Tuition is subject to UBC Board of Governor’s approval, and the university may adjust fees at any time with limited notice.

Expenses explained

These are mandatory fees for students of the University of British Columbia. Students will receive a U-PASS, allowing all students unmitigated access to Vancouver’s transit system, and AMS Extended Health Insurance, which will cover the duration of their time in the program.

This is a student-levied fee which all UBC Sauder students pay, and passed through student referendum to finance the renovation of the Henry Angus Building. The full amount is taken at the same time as the first tuition installment on September 1st.

Working with your counterparts from local business schools, you’ll consult for successful companies on a mandatory project. Gather first-hand knowledge about the culture and commerce of another country, and develop the confidence to work in the global marketplace. The approximate cost of Global Immersion is $5,000 CAD, and an additional $600 CAD course administration fee.

This provides international students with basic health insurance for the first 3 months of their time in the UBC MBA + MBAN Dual Degree program. This also includes a $9 billing charge.

Commonly known as MSP, the Medical Service Plan insures medically required services provided by physicians and supplementary health care practitioners and diagnostic procedures. More information can be found here.

This figure is calculated based on the average for a one-bedroom apartment off-campus. Rent will vary depending on location and condition of the accommodation.
