Internships
Add two disciplines to your CV
The UBC MBA+MBAN Dual Degree program pushes you beyond theory and into hands-on work experience—an important component of the program. You will do either an internship or an industry/entrepreneurial project as a UBC MBA student and an additional internship as a UBC MBAN student. The experience of dual work opportunities gives you a competitive edge upon graduation.
During your UBC MBA, you can choose to complete an internship with a company or not-for-profit, work on an entrepreneurial project where you’ll create a business plan for a new venture, or work on an industry project where you’ll conduct in-depth research in a specific sector.
Then, during your UBC MBAN internship, you’ll consult on an actual analytical challenge a company or not-for-profit is facing.
In each, you’ll meet industry mentors, get a sense for what it’s like to work in the field and add a wealth of experience to your CV.
UBC MBA and MBAN students have interned at companies, including: McKinsey & Company, Salesforce, EA, Aritzia, Deloitte, KPMG, RBC, Telus, Hootsuite, Vancouver Coastal Health
