The UBC PMBA experience
Your path to success
This UBC Professional MBA (PMBA) curriculum ensures students have the critical skills and knowledge to think about business at a strategic and holistic level. To allow you to focus on your studies, two modules are taught over six weeks, with classes every two to three weekends. And to ensure ease of access, exams are administered online.


Foundation Courses
Courses covered include accounting; introductory finance; foundations of accounting and business economics; marketing; operations; application of statistics in management; building high performance teams; fundamentals of analytics and tech.
Advanced Courses
Specialized courses covered include entrepreneurship; financial statement analysis; strategy in organizations; process fundamentals; marketing research; corporate finance; investment theory and asset pricing; supply chain strategy and analytics.
Professional residencies
Taught by a cross-discipline team, these residencies will span multiple topics in business. The first will focus on leadership and competitive strategy. The second: business development and negotiations. The third: ethics, sustainability, and managing change.
Optional Global Network Week & Courses
Online courses offered by institutions in the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) that can be taken and counted as credit towards the UBC PMBA.
