BCom students Jenny Hu, Jenny Yan, Josh Wood, and Rob Harmer were the runners-up at the 10th Annual CBS Case Competition hosted at the Copenhagen Business School from February 28 to March 1.
Coached by Associate Professor Kin Lo, the Sauder team competed against 11 other business schools from around the world, including the University of Southern California, McGill University, Tsinghua University (China), Maastrict University (Netherlands), Copenhagen Business School (Denmark) and the National University of Singapore, which won first place.
The case company this year was Stockholm-based H&M Group, the world’s second-largest apparel chain with over 2,200 stores worldwide. The Sauder team and the two other finalists presented to a crowd of 600 and a judging panel of 15 executives who comprised the who’s who of the Nordic business elite, including two members of H&M’s management.
