On May 1, the Social Science Research Network (SSRN) rated the Sauder School of Business as 17th in the world for business and management research among schools outside of the United States.
Out of the top 1,000 non-US business schools, Sauder moved up six places from 23rd in April. Created to measure scholarly impact, schools are ranked based on article downloads and citations.
Today’s placement further strengthens Sauder’s reputation as one of the world’s leading academic business schools. Earlier this year the Financial Times Global MBA rankings put Sauder among its top 20 for research impact, while the University of Texas (Dallas) rankings put the school in 24th place worldwide for research contribution from 2007-2011.
The Social Science Research Network was established in 1994 by Michael Jensen, a financial economist at Harvard Business School.
