Three UBC Sauder alumni have been recognized by Business in Vancouver and the Chartered Professional Accountants of B.C. as the province’s top financial leaders in the eighth annual B.C. CFO Awards.
Winners were selected based on their record in helping their companies grow through effective strategic decision-making, business principles and financial reporting, along with how much the candidates give back to their profession and communities.
The 2018 winners from UBC Sauder are:
- Large Private Company Category:
Judy Leung (BCom ’95) Chief Financial Officer, Westbank Corp.
- Small Public Company Category:
John Hanna (MBA ’93), Chief Financial Officer, Vecima Networks Inc.
- Small Private Company Category:
Pamela Lee (BCom ’95), Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Lube Canada
Winners will be profiled in the May 8 edition of Business in Vancouver and honoured at a gala dinner taking place June 7 at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel.
