Full time Sauder MBA student Maryanne Mathias was featured in a liveGlobe and Mail online discussion on Tuesday, July 13 at 9am PT about her experience as a socially responsible entrepreneur.

The founder of Osei-Duro Clothing discussed her fashion line of sustainable hand-dyed clothing fabricated in Ghana, which has been featured in the high end shopping outlets Barneys New York and Selfridges.

Using two sewing co-operatives, each employing 11 women, the business woman and fashion designer has found great success creating employment opportunities and job training for women in West Africa, while appealing to the sensibilities of fashion forward urbanites.
