Anna Murray, a UBC International MBA alumna from the Class of 2007, was named one of the country’s most prominent women at the Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Awards. Given annually by The Women's Executive Network, the awards honour women who are proven achievers in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Murray was named along with four others in the Future Leaders category.

She was recognized for her work with leading international organizations, including Xstrata Nickel, where she is currently senior advisor, sustainability and corporate affairs.  Previously, Murray worked with the United Nations as a consultant to the Global Compact program, a policy platform for companies committed to sustainability.
