Catfights at work? No myth, according to research, which shows that female conflicts in the workplace are subject to negative stereotyping.
In an article on the subject, the British national daily features a recent Sauder study, co-authored by PhD candidate Leah Sheppard and Professor Karl Aquino, which finds that when it comes to workplace conflicts, women get a bad rap.
The researchers suggest that troubling gender-based perceptions still exist, and managers should be aware of this bias and not let stereotyping guide their decision-making.
