In an op-ed, special to the Vancouver Sun, Dean Emeritus Michael Goldberg argues for the development of new rapid transit lines in B.C.
Goldberg writes that a well-developed public transit system lays the foundation for attracting and retaining skilled workers, and even more so, being a globally competitive city.
“Without this investment Metro Vancouver will become more congested, more polluted, less efficient, less livable and less competitive,” he concludes.
