Celebrations are around the corner for the IMBA Program in Shanghai, in cooperation with the Antai College of Economics and Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which is recognizing its 10th anniversary with a gala event in Shanghai on June 7, 2010.

Speakers at the by-invitation only event include Mr. Dicky Yip, Executive Vice President, Bank of Communications and Mr. Nadir Patel, Consul General of Canada in Shanghai. Sauder Dean Daniel F. Muzyka will also attend as emcee.

Since 2000, the Robert H. Fully approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education, the program is offered in a part-time format over 20 months, is taught by UBC faculty, and features two weeks of study in Vancouver. Students are drawn from top multinational companies and Chinese enterprises, with a number of countries represented in the class each year.

UBC and the Sauder School have a long and proud history of intellectual engagement and relationship building within the Asia Pacific region, and China has been a focal point for their international activities. Since 1980, Sauder has been teaching and conducting research in China, and has established partnerships with leading universities, business organizations and government enterprises.
