The 23rd Global Network Deans and Directors Meeting will be held from May 17 to 19, 2023 at the University of British Columbia's Sauder School of Business.
The Deans and Directors Meeting will start on Wednesday May 17 at 6:00PM with a Welcome Reception at Bridges Restaurant on Granville Island. Meetings will take place on May 18 and 19.

Darren Dahl

Justin Bull
Justin is a full-time lecturer at the Sauder School of Business, where he also leads the Sustainability and Ethics Group. He is the academic director of the Masters of Engineering Leadership and Masters of Health Leadership and Policy in the Faculty of Applied Science at UBC. Economic reconciliation is a major area of his work, and he is a committed board member supporting the Tla’amin First Nation and Nak'azdli First Nation with their economic development strategies. Justin volunteers as a moderator with CDL-Vancouver (a venture incubator) and as advisor to AdvantageBC (a non-profit focused on financing climate innovation). He completed his undergraduate and doctoral work at UBC, and is proud to be the third generation of his family to matriculate here.

Mahesh Nagarajan
Mahesh is the Senior Associate Dean for Research and the Academic Director of RHL. He holds the chair for the alumni professor of stochastic optimization. Mahesh is an applied mathematician whose main research is in the theory of stochastic optimization and cooperative game theory. His applied research uses tools form high dimensional statistics and optimization. He has worked widely with health care agencies and hospitals in Canada and the US and across many industries such as airlines, services and hospitality.

Jennifer Black
Jennifer is an Associate Professor of Food, Nutrition and Health in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems where she leads the Public Health and Urban Nutrition Research Group. Her research aims to improve understanding of the complex social and contextual factors that shape the health of individuals, communities and of the environment, with a focus on neighbourhood food environments, school health, and food systems research.
