Impact Investing and Sustainable Finance in Developing Countries

The PH&N Centre for Financial Research and the Dhillon Centre for Business Ethics at UBC Sauder are pleased to co-host a talk on “Impact Investing and Sustainable Finance in Developing Countries” by Christopher Clubb, Managing Director, Europe of Convergence Blended Finance.

Clubb, who is a UBC Sauder alumnus, joined Convergence in 2016. In his career, he has overseen more than $30 billion of financing in over 80 countries. Clubb has worked at major international development finance institutions. His previous roles include Director of Banking/Investment in Early Transition Countries at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), senior banker at the European Investment Bank, and Director at Export Development Canada (EDC). Clubb has held leadership, banking, investment and risk management roles. Clubb earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Finance from Queen’s University and completed his Master of Science, International Finance, at UBC.
