Student orientation
A half-day orientation session is held prior to each term to provide students with the necessary tools and resources required to succeed in the program.
At orientation, learn how to make the most of your learning experience by connecting with fellow students and faculty members in a casual environment. Gain insight into the student experience, such as how to manage a busy workload, and participate in a career building workshop lead by one-on-one career coach, Russell Garrett.
One-on-one career coaching
Every UBC DAP student has the benefit of a personal coach who can be called upon for face-to-face or online assistance with self-assessment, career path planning, job search skills and the transition to professional life. The coaching relationship begins at orientation and continues throughout the program.
