The Peter P. Dhillon Centre for Business Ethics and the UBC Sauder Dean’s Office are hosting a short research symposium to showcase research funded by the EDI Catalyst Research grant. We will hear from a variety of Sauder faculty, graduate students, and alumni about their research projects related to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion:

  • Siddhanth Mookerjee & Yann Cornil: “Do Minority-Owned Labels Help or Hurt Minority Businesses? The Effect of Minority-Owned Labels on Purchase Intentions Depending on Consumers' Political Orientation and Race”
  • Barnini Bhattacharyya & Michael Daniels: “Effects of Shame and Pride on Disclosure of Stigmatized Identities at Work
     

About the EDI Catalyst Grant

The EDI Catalyst Grant encourages and supports UBC Sauder research related to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) by providing seed funding. Applications for the next round of EDI Catalyst Grant funding are due June 23, 2023.
