Mark off the New Year with a chance to win a $100 Visa gift card and a UBC Sauder swag bag at our virtual Cheers to the New Year cocktail masterclass. Enjoy a lively night with fellow UBC Sauder alumni led by one of The Bar Cart's award-winning Bar Educators and Keefer Car alumnus, Chris Mosey. Host a friend or two and follow along to learn how to create two UBC Sauder themed cocktails: The Main Mall Mixture and The Networking Night Cap. 

With registration, you will receive a recipe card that allows you to purchase your own ingredients and follow along with the class. The event will be followed by an optional virtual "after-party" that allows guests to network amongst themselves.

Chris Mosey has been a Vancouver staple since he emigrated to Canada under the name “Seymour Buttz” in 2014. His creative, award-winning cocktail lists and raucous bar-side manner are considered "a tonic for the soul."

Chris’ experience spans both locally and internationally. His career includes stints at Vancouver’s Keefer Bar, one of the Top 5 Cocktail Bars in Canada. Before coming to Canada, Chris worked at some of the most respected establishments in the UK, where he also received an award for 'Britain’s second best Pina Colada' in 2013.

His unique flavour combos– or terrible and seemingly never-ending list of puns– are guaranteed to bring a smile.
