Enjoy a gourmet three-course meal crafted by a club member for over 15 years, chef Jay Parhar, paired with carefully selected wines. During dinner, you’ll be led through key dining etiquette lessons by resident etiquette expert Leanne Pepper, including:
Understanding your table setting
Mastering difficult to eat foods
How to handle conversation topics and conduct business
Hands-on tips for how to work the room during cocktail hour and seamlessly find your seat at the table
Understand the dining behaviours that are expected from a professional in today’s business world. Whether you want to get comfortable with fine dining, or simply refresh your etiquette, join us for an excellent meal and impress the next time you go out for dinner!

Chef Jay Parhar was born in New Delhi, India. Beloved by Club members for over 15 years, his ever-evolving menus delight the palate while incorporating the highest standards of nutrition and health.
Chef Jay trained at the Taj and Sofitel Hotel Chains in India, the Relais & Chateaux Inn in Parry Sound, and some of the finest restaurants in Toronto. He obtained a degree in Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, in Calcutta, and a Diploma in Culinary Management, from George Brown College in Toronto.
Leanne Pepper is the General Manager of the Faculty Club, University of Toronto and is an Etiquette and Protocol Consultant. Leanne received her training and certification at The Protocol School of Washington®, Washington, D.C. Her certifications include training for business executives, young adults, and children in dining skills, protocol, etiquette, and communication skills
