Continuation Requirements

The UBC Bachelor + Master of Management Dual Degree attracts top students, who must meet top standards to continue their journey.

Students in the Master of Management Dual Degree Option (B+MM) program must meet all the continuation requirements for each year of their Undergraduate Program as well as the following conditions to remain in the B+MM:

First Year

Attain an average of at least 65% in each Winter Session, Terms 1 & 2 combined (including all courses attempted), until the student completes the first year of their Undergraduate Program.

Second Year to Completion of Undergraduate Program

Attain an average of at least 72% in each Winter Session, Terms 1 & 2 combined (including all courses attempted), until the student completes their Undergraduate Program.

Continuation to Master of Management Graduate Program

Fulfill the minimum University requirements for admission to graduate programs in order to continue on to the Master of Management program.

Once admitted to the Master of Management program, students must meet the Master of Management requirements to graduate.

Students who do not meet the minimum grade of 68% in one commerce course that will be applied to the Master of Management degree (COMM 320, 321, 420 and/or 421) may repeat that course once, if allowed by the home faculty, to attempt to meet the 68% minimum grade requirement. Students who do not meet the minimum grade of 68% in their second attempt, will not be allowed to attempt the course for a third time and will be required to withdraw from the Master of Management Dual Degree Option (B+MM).
