A non-refundable $125 CAD fee is required prior to the application being processed. Please note that the electronic application requires payment of an application fee using MasterCard or Visa only. Application fees cannot be deferred and are only valid for the academic year in which you apply.
A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $2,500 (credited towards first installment of tuition) is collected for admitted candidates in advance of program commencement.
Student Levied Fees*
Additional student activity fees in the range of $1,000 - $1,300 CAD will be levied by student associations.
Working with your counterparts from local business schools, you will consult for successful companies on a mandatory international project. Past international locations included Bangalore, Copenhagen, Singapore and Shanghai. Gather first-hand knowledge about the culture and commerce of another country, and develop the confidence to work in the global marketplace. The approximate cost of Global Immersion is $5,000 CAD, plus a $600 CAD course administration fee.
The Sauder School of Business building fee is a student levied fee which all Sauder students pay. The fee was passed through student referendum to help finance the recent building renovations. The amount of this fee is $1,522.50 CAD, and the fee is charged to all MBA students. The full amount of the fee is taken at the same time as the first tuition instalment in Year 1 (January 1st).
Textbooks, Course Fees & Supplies*
The cost for books and materials will be approximately $2,500 - $3,500 CAD.
MBA Preparation Program Fees*
The MBA Preparation Program is optional, and a separate fee of approximately $300 - $800 CAD will be applied depending on the number of courses taken.

Please note, per UBC policy, credit cards are NOT accepted for tuition installments (application fees and the deposit may, however, be paid by credit cards by all students). Part-time students at UBC are generally not eligible for fellowships, Teaching Assistantships (TAs) and Research Assistantships (RAs).
