The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), administered in test centers around the world, is an admission requirement for the UBC MBA. It measures your verbal, mathematical, analytical and writing skills and helps us assess your qualifications for advanced study in business and management. Official GMAT website
What GMAT score do I need for the UBC MBA?
A GMAT score of 550 or higher, with at least a 50th percentile in the quantitative and verbal sections of the test, is required. The average GMAT score for the current MBA class is 646.
When to take the GMAT
We suggest you write the GMAT exam no later than 4-6 weeks prior to the MBA application deadline in case you need to re-write the exam. The sooner we receive your GMAT score and all other supporting documentation, the sooner we can make a decision on admission.
Official GMAT scores
You must arrange to have your official GMAT score sent to us from the testing service organization, using our GMAT code: LQS-CP-02.
GMAT scores are only considered official when we receive them from the GMAC office. We do not accept photocopies, scanned or faxed score reports from students themselves.
GMAT scores are valid if written within the last five years.
