Executive Certificate in Health Administration
The UBC Certificate in Health Administration is uniquely designed to prepare health care leaders to lead China’s health care development and reform efforts. This program will position you to be a leader who can advance China’s health care system through international best practices and tools; develop your critical and analytical thinking skills; and connect you to a global network of health care executives.
Our dedicated program for training Chinese healthcare professionals in leadership and administration delivers the best of both worlds right at your doorstep. As the only Canadian-run executive certificate in health administration, our system of universal health care brings unique insights for Chinese clinicians and administrators who can lead from the ground up. You will access the expertise from one of Canada’s top medical and top business schools through which there is a long and proud history of teaching and research in China.
You will complete four modules offered on weekends over a one-year period, taught by internationally recognized UBC faculty and health care executives. An optional Vancouver site visit will give you the opportunity to shadow a Canadian healthcare executive team and engage in relevant case study analysis.
