Hosted by Sauder's W. Maurice Young Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Research Centre,the UBC Sauder Entrepreneurship Luncheon will feature short business plan presentations of six teams of students who are currently launching their own start-up companies.
Over the past six months, teams of Sauder Master of Management students have lent their business skills to community-enhancing projects for 15 local organizations. On May 15 students will present their projects, discussing the scope, challenges, successes and outcomes.
The 11th Annual UBC Net Impact Conference,entitled Sustainability: Accelerating Impact, takes place at the Vancouver Convention Centre and will focus on the role of business, government, and community in progressing sustainability initiatives through collaboration.
