Darrell Kopke is an entrepreneurial business leader and executive who specializes in high growth, omni-channel apparel companies. He has lead, as CEO, Kit and Ace Designs and Karma Athletics. Darrell is considered a member of the group of founders of lululemon athletica (NASDAQ: LULU). Since joining lululemon as General Manager and the sixth head office employee in 2001 and until the sale of lululemon to private equity in late 2005, he oversaw the company’s expansion from one store in Kitsilano and $1 million in sales to 60 stores internationally, about 100 percent annual growth and $200+ million in sales. Darrell is also the Founder and Skool Principal of institute B, a Vancouver-based business advisory firm focusing on social impact for-profit corporations. In 2006, he was announced as a member of the Business in Vancouver magazine’s ‘Top 40 Under 40’.
