Warren M. Spitz

Warren Spitz is a Canadian entrepreneur and philanthropist who founded the UCS Forest Group of Companies, a North American based distributor and trader of specialty forest products. He also founded a medical technology company and a musical instrument manufacturing company.

Mr. Spitz is past president of International Wood Products Association based in Washington D.C., served as chapter chair of Young Presidents’ Organization in Ontario, has sat on the board of the Toronto International Film Festival for over seven years and has been very involved with both Canada Company and the True Patriot Love Foundation in support of Canada’s military families.

He has supported a variety of charities across Canada and has most recently launched the Spitz Fellowship for First Nations Women at the Sauder School of Business. He was recently asked to sit on the Presidents’ Advisory Council at UBC.
