Tracey McVicar

Ms. McVicar is a managing partner at CAI, a mid-market private equity firm. She is a former investment banker (RBC Capital Markets and Raymond James Ltd.) and a bachelor of commerce graduate of the Sauder School of Business, Leslie Wong Fellow. Ms. McVicar is a chartered financial analyst and has received the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. She is currently chair of GLM Industries LP, Feeney Brothers Excavation LLC and GSI Inc., and a director at Tervita Corporation (all CAI portfolio companies). She is also a director at Teck Resources Ltd. and recently retired as a director of B.C. Hydro Corporation, where she chaired the audit & finance committee.

Ms. McVicar is a director of the Vancouver Board of Trade and the Fraser Institute, a member of the Big Sisters honorary board and the Science World chair’s council and the chair of Golf for Good, an annual tournament that has raised over $1 million for non-profit organizations that “do a lot with a little”. She is a past director of the Vancouver General Hospital and UBC Hospital Foundation, UBC Investment Management Trust, the B.C. Forum for Women Entrepreneurs and the Central City Foundation. Ms McVicar is a past winner of Business in Vancouver’s Top 40 Under 40 Award, the Association of Women in Finance’s PEAK Award for Knowledge and Leadership, Business in Vancouver’s Influential Women in Business Award and WXN’s Canada’s Most Powerful Women, Top 100 Award.
