The UBC Diploma in Accounting Program (DAP) is a credit-based program designed to prepare you for a CA, CGA or CMA designation. The program also represents an excellent opportunity for professionals to broaden their business skills. DAP courses run throughout the year.
What you’ll learn
DAP's intensive curriculum satisfies many of the course requirements for both the CMA and the CGA programs. As well, the program is officially recognized by the Chartered Accountants School of Business (CASB). Even if you lack the prerequisites to enter the CA program directly, you can fast-track your training by enrolling in the UBC Diploma in Accounting Program, before or after you have found employment with a recognized CA firm.

What our students say
"As a history major, the switch to business and accounting was daunting. DAP made it a lot easier: a clear curriculum, competent instructors, and a flexible timeline. It fit my goals and schedule perfectly. After finishing the Diploma, I enrolled in the CMA- Sauder DAP Bridge program to complete the required courses in order to write the National Entrance Exam. After an intense, six-week program I successfully passed the National Entrance Exam in October 2007."
