To meet the unique needs of Sauder’s teaching community, LTS supplements services and events offered by the UBC Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT) with Sauder-targeted learning and development opportunities and resources for faculty and lecturers – often in co-operation with the Dean’s Office.

Everyone is invited to participate in the monthly Thursday Teaching Lunches, sponsored by Dr. Tom Ross (Senior Associate Dean - Faculty and Research) with the support of Learning and Technology Services. These informal and practical sessions run from 12:30 pm to 1:30pm on the last Thursday of every month. Register for upcoming Teaching Lunches or review past sessions.

Professional Development

Occasionally, we sponsor faculty and lecturers to attend educational events relating to innovation and best practices in teaching and learning. We also seek out opportunities to showcase Sauder’s outstanding work in business education, through conferences, presentations, seminars and related industry publications.
