Learning and Technology Services advances project management maturity using structured approaches including stakeholder involvement in project charters, change control, and maintaining project documentation.
These documented processes have been adapted to the Sauder environment while maintaining industry best practices. Inputs for project processes include:
- Sauder processes – Project management approaches that are tailored to Sauder’s needs;
- Project Management Institute (PMI) processes – PMI is the leading organization for project management professionals and represents international standards for conducting projects regardless of the industry or methodology;
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) – Sauder is working with UBC IT to implement and follow ITIL standards for service management.
