Career Opportunity - Property Manager
Katherine Sanford Housing Society, an established non-profit society with an excellent reputation for developing and managing supportive housing for people with mental health and addiction issues seeks experienced property manager to complement their team. They specialize in professional property management and development partnering with other agencies that provide support services to residents. Their growing portfolio consists of 19 society-owned projects with 2 new projects under construction. The society also operates a social enterprise providing property management services to other non-profits.
Responsibilities:
- As Property Manager, you will engage in a multi-faceted role which will include:
- Maintenance, Modernization, and Improvement Management
- Financial Administration
- Leadership
- Tenant Management
- Client, Supplier, and Government Relations
Qualifications:
- Proven success and experience as a Property Manager – Multi Unit/Property
- Demonstrated leadership skills (coaching, leading, and motivating of a team)
- Compassionate, empathetic, and responsible conflict resolution skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Solid financial and computer skills
- Yardi Voyager Property Management Software an asset
- Knowledge of regulatory policies pertaining to Residential Tenancy Act, Societies Act, Community Care Licensing Act, and Adult Community Care Regulations.
- Valid BC Driver’s License
