Brokerage Training Program
Form Retail Advisors is seeking entrepreneurial candidates for a brokerage training position. This role presents the unique opportunity for a highly-talented and driven individual to develop his/her leasing and sales skills in the commercial real estate industry, while working directly with the firm’s partners. The training program will consist of a two year training program.
As part of the training program, the selected candidate will work directly with the partners to assist in leasing initiatives, execute investment sale transactions, as well as prepare proposals for new assignments. Specific responsibilities will include:
- Conduct fundamental research on various investment opportunities
- Assist in detailed due diligence process
- Underwrite investment properties, conduct residual land analysis and prepare cash flow projections
- Prepare offer documentation and listing proposals
- Work with marketing leader to create and manage marketing materials
- Preparation of progress reports to clients
After a successful 8-12 month training program, the candidate will transition into a brokerage role. The expanded role will include the following responsibilities:
- Prospect new business and initiate sales calls
- Identify, research and pursue new business opportunities
- Tenant prospect management
- Prepare offers and assist with negotiations
- Liaise with and report to clients as needed
Qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple responsibilities
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team-based environment
- Post-secondary education in an industry-related concentration
- Creativity, driven to excel and strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
