Property Management Compliance Officer

The Compliance Department of the Real Estate Council is recruiting for a Property Management Compliance Officer.
The position requires a candidate who is highly productive working in a collaborative team environment. The candidate must possess a solid working knowledge of the Real Estate Services Act, the Residential Tenancy Act and the Strata Property Act. The position is demanding and the tasks varied. Handling consumer complaints and informally resolving disputes is an integral aspect of this position, in addition to undertaking formal investigations into allegations of professional misconduct. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Ideal candidates also have solid analytical and resolution skills as well as good organizational and computer abilities. This position is based at the Council office in downtown Vancouver.
