Suncorp Valuations is a full service appraisal and valuation consulting firm with offices in Canada and the U.S. We appraise land, buildings, machinery and other equipment for financing, litigation support, mergers and acquisitions, and insurance purposes. We are seeking an individual for the position of Senior Valuation Consultant in our Private Sector Costing Group in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The successful applicant for this position will have a proven ability to complete a variety of market value and costing appraisal assignments.
The successful individual must possess:
- AACI designation with three to five years of post-designation progressive experience.
- Experience in commercial appraisal engagements.
- Willingness to travel.
- Good understanding of appraisal costing (Marshall & Swift).
The successful individual’s skill set will include:
- Strong planning, organizational, and scheduling skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks.
- Ability to deal with people effectively at all levels.
- Advanced computer software skills, particularly working with complex spreadsheets.
- Self motivation.
- Ability to work both within a team and independently.
- Proven leadership ability.
