Applications are now being accepted for the position of:

Resident Manager – Vancouver, BC (full time/permanent)

SDM Realty Advisors, an established property management firm in Vancouver, is accepting applications for an onsite Resident Manager to oversee the rental, operation and administration of an upscale 92 unit residential development in Vancouver.

This position primarily involves marketing and leasing vacant suites, tenant relations and administration. The Resident Manager must have a good understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act and be highly organized with strong computer skills. We seek someone with the ability to qualify, secure and retain tenants willing and able to pay monthly rents currently in the range of $1,600 to $2,800. The candidate must enjoy dealing with tenants, have a strong personality and possess an ability to hold people accountable.

The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years residential leasing and management experience and must hold a Rental Property Management License.

The 92 residential units form part of a larger mixed use complex incorporating retail tenants, so the Resident Manager must be able to work with other members of an operating team that includes a retail manager, building engineer, maintenance technician and service contractors.  Because the building has an engineer and maintenance technician, the Resident Manager’s role will focus on leasing and administration rather than maintenance and repairs.

He or she will live on-site in subsidized accommodation and work Wednesday through Sunday. Back-up coverage for Monday and Tuesday will be provided.

SDM offers a competitive salary and benefits plan. Qualified applicants, please email your resume to sdmrealtyadvisors@gmail.com. We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
