BA 564 Leadership Development

A primary goal of the Sauder School of Business and the Robert H. Lee Graduate School's MBA program is not only to develop managers with string business acumen, but also to develop leaders who have the ability and capacity to make a positive difference for their group, organization, society, and themselves. Importantly, occupying or being appointed to a supervisory or managerial position doesn't magically make one a leader.

This is an experiential and activity-based course. Students will work individually and in small groups to focus on developing their practice of leadership. Students will (a) gain clarity regarding their own leadership perspective, (b) acquire specific skills that can facilitate effective leadership, and (c) develop an actionable plan for their leadership development.
