Curriculum
MM students have both required and elective courses in their program. See Program Schedule for a curriculum overview.
Schedules
The list of available courses and the most recent timetable for all MM in OR courses are found in the MM in OR 2011-12 program schedule. These schedules are subject to change, and it is the students' responsibility to check with the Sauder School MBA/MM Programs Office for any changes close to the start of each Period. You can find the scheduling for any COMM courses on the UBC Course Schedule. (In the left-hand column, select the correct session (Winter), click on “Courses”, then click on “COMM.”)
Registation Process
- The Sauder School MBA/MM Programs Office will register you in all your required modules at the beginning of each term. You do not need to register in these courses yourself.
- Download the MM in OR Student Curriculum Plan to review your program.
- By the date indicated on the form (June 29, 2012), contact your Academic Advisor, Dr. Mahesh Nagarajan, to review and complete your Curriculum Plan (above), sign it and then have your advisor sign it.
- Once the Curriculum Plan is completed, make a photocopy for your records.
- Submit the original completed Curriculum Plan to the MBA/MM Programs Office (Henry Angus building, room 111). Alternatively, you may fax this form to 604-822-9030.
Student Service Centre
The Student Service Centre is a web site created by UBC for students that contains information about UBC and their program of study. This is the site at which you can:
- Check your registration.
- Change your mailing address and/or e-mail address.
- Look up tuition fees and due dates.
- Check on grades.
- Apply to graduate and much more!
To access the SSC, you will need a Campus Wide Login (CWL). You will need the following information to create your CWL:
- Your 8-digit student number (listed on your letter of offer).
- A 6-digit password. Your password is initially set to your birth date - year/month/day (e.g., if you were born January 29, 1972, your password would be 720129).
