- Modules
-
The MM modules provide a comprehensive, broad-based management education that gives you in-depth business expertise across a range of key business subject areas. Topics include: strategic management, finance, managerial accounting, marketing, entrepreneurship, organizational behaviour and human resources, information technology, supply chain management, and operations and logistics.
- Community Business Project
-
From January to May, the Community Business Project allows you to engage, collaborate and network with local businesses on group projects as you apply your classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios. The Community Business Project is a 1.5 credit course that provides an opportunity for you to put your business skills to work on community-enhancing projects such as business planning, market expansion, community planning, and environmental sustainability initiatives. This section of the program gives you the real-world, practical business experience you need to make employers sit up and take notice.
- Capstone Course
-
This is your chance to demonstrate your new skills. Use your business knowledge and leadership abilities to solve a significant business challenge in this three-day business simulation. This is an invaluable opportunity for MM students to use the theoretical and applied learning they've gained in the past nine months, preparing them for any industry.
- Study Abroad Opportunities
-
MM Study Abroad programs take place during the summer months and vary in length from two to eight weeks. Further your global perspective on business and align yourself with another top business school in locations as varied as Beijing, Cologne and London. You'll get a chance to study new subjects that are not available at Sauder or UBC and network with future international business leaders from around the world. Students participating in a Study Abroad program will gain extra credit and graduate with an option in International Business.
- Career Development
-
Working with the Business Career Centre (BCC) and your career coach, you will develop valuable career-development skills, including resume writing, interview techniques and networking. Get one-on-one advice, take part in workshops and skill development programs, access recruitment opportunities and go on treks to key employment destinations. The BCC is your full-service career development partner both while you're in the MM program and after you graduate.
