UBC Dual MBA/MAAPPS (Master of Arts, Asia Pacific Policy Studies)
The MBA/MAAPPS Program is a two-year program administered dually by the Sauder School of Business and the Institute of Asian Research at The University of British Columbia. The dual degrees will prepare students for international careers in business administration and/or policy studies specializing in Asia-Pacific. Interested applicants are required to apply directly to both the Sauder School of Business and the Institute of Asian Research indicating their desire to be considered for the dual MBA/MAAPPS Program. Enrollment is limited to students who have demonstrated academic excellence.
Students are required to complete 30 credits in Asia Pacific Policy Studies and 45 credits in the MBA program. The program of study must be approved by the Joint Degrees Committee. The MAAPPS and MBA degrees will be conferred at the completion of the dual program after all requirements for both degrees have been met.

Application for Admission
Application to the Dual MBA/MAAPPS program involves applying separately to each of the MBA and the MAAPPS programs. Candidates are required to meet all of the admission requirements and deadlines for both programs. Candidates must be admitted to both the MAAPPS and MBA programs in order to be admissible to the dual degree program.

Visit the Institute of Asian Research web site for information and application instructions pertaining to admission to MAAPPS portion of the program. The MAAPPS application deadline is January 15th.
