GMAT and TOEFL Requirements

Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)

The GMAT is not required for all applicants. If you have been requested by the EMBA Office to complete the GMAT,  your application will not be evaluated before the official GMAT score has been received. We will not accept photocopies or faxed score reports. GMAT scores are valid if written within the last five years. You must arrange to have the official results sent directly from the testing service organization to the EMBA Program Office at UBC. The GMAT exam should be taken no later than 4-6 weeks prior to the EMBA application deadline.

Applicants to the UBC EMBA Program that have been asked to complete the GMAT are required to complete all sections (Quantitative, Verbal and Analytical Writing Analysis) of the GMAT.

There is no minimum GMAT score requirement. However, in order to be competitive, a score of 550 or better, with at least 50th percentile in each section, is recommended.

More information on the GMAT exam is available at mba.com.
