Scott Sinclair

As a two-time winner of the Sauder School of Business Undergraduate Teaching award, Scott Sinclair is really in his element in the classroom. Drawing on industry experience and an impressive record of involvement with accounting professional organizations, Scott embraces teaching as the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of his students. Having articled with Coopers and Lybrand early in his career, he went on to work in the mining industry before becoming Director of Student Education for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia then principal author of the CA Program for the Chartered Accountants School of Business (CASB) program in Western Canada. A winner of the CA School of Business Award for Excellence in Learning Materials Development, he places a high value on delivering a quality education experience. The fact that he describes his involvement with UBC DAP as an “honour”, speaks to the reputation of the program.
