Quantitative Methods (QM) Prep Course
The DAP QM Prep course is a three-day course, offered prior to the start of each academic Session (twice a year, generally at the end of April and August).
The fast-paced nature of the DAP necessitates that all students have an adequate understanding of business statistics, quantitative decision making methods, time value of money concepts and business computing. Many of the DAP courses, particularly Finance and Managerial Accounting, presume students are somewhat familiar with these concepts. The DAP Quantitative Methods Preparatory Course (QM Prep Course) is an intensive 3-day review of these key business mathematics concepts offered in April and August each year.
DAP students who have limited or no experience in mathematics or accounting may be required to complete this course as a condition of their admission to the DAP, but may also be of interest to those students who have already taken courses in these subjects but may not have had the opportunity to apply these concepts in an accounting or business decision-making context, as well as those students who recognize on their own that their quantitative skills are in need of updating.
A self-assessment test is available on the QM Prep course registration page for those who are unsure whether the course will be beneficial.
